Further Reading

Cause I can link now and I don't feel like putting a whole new post up.

Sumo great calls it quits.

The Redskins are 5-6, and critics are saying they're dead in the water, everyone was convinced Gibbs was over the hill. Hmmmm, when was the last time this happened? Oh yeah, two years ago, when they went 10-6 and made the playoffs.

Yeah, Bill Cowher can suck my balls.

- Isodunnohuyuare was pretty important, retiring ranked 103 in jonidan -- his longevity was the only notable part of his career. I don't pay attention to anyone unless they make to juryo, which is still AAA ball.

- Ah, for the halcyon days of 2005, when an impassioned speech about getting back to "Redskins football" got us back on track -- wait, already done that this year! Ah, for a troubled offense scoring 22.4 points per game! Since then, we've brought in Al Saunders and are now rocking with 19.3 points per game. Ah, for two playoff games in which we score only 10 offensive points apiece, winning against Tampa Bay with 120 total yards of offense. Ah, for glossing over the big problems with Brunell chucking up WTF hail marys to Moss... With a few minor tweaks we'd be ready to reach the Super Bowl, right? Whoops, 5-11.
